and was very lucky to witness an awesome air-show done in "marina bay" as a part of their rehearsal for their "National day celebration"

I love to share with you some of the shots done their.... do comment on improvements and anything interesting... :)

Twilight in Marina bay.......
The skyscrapers of Singapore....

Jst tried a pose ;)

This is the max i could get from my 55-250 lens..... the tip of the sky-park building. (which you can see in the photo above)
A candid......shot from other side of the road, I loved her expression of exitement....

The singapore flyer...

This continuous shot is my favorite, one of the best maneuvers done by the Singapore air-force....
The first is before split and the second is after split which looked like a flower, I loved seeing thru' my lens than thru' my eyes... :)

Hope you enjoyed the shots.....

Kerala.... The "God's Own Country !"

Kerala..... God's Own Country !

It really is as the caption says, My recent trip to kerala has made me really feel a nap in the lap of mother nature !
I loved those days and as usual done some clicks too..... I would like to share few shots I done there.

I assure you that it would be great going and experiencing nature than reading about it in internet ;)

Good Morning Kerala !!
I shot this sunrise from the moving train while crossing the Palakad station....

My first shot for 2010, This sunrise was shot from the house boat, where we spent a day.. it was awesome !

Captured some moments by the back waters of cochin...

The chinese fishing nets are very different which can be only seen in kerala back waters...

A touch of are is in every corner,
I shot this one from a road side art gallery, I tried this in different angles and at-last got the best at this angle of view... one of my favorite shots....

My next post will focus on some Funas like flies and reptiles... selecting few for the post.... !

Danushkodi...... A Tale.....

All these photographs were shot by me in a place called "Danushkodi" which is in south India.

There is no proper road to this place, need to hire a 4X4 jeep to reach..

This place was once an important entry point to India with all facilities like Railway station, and other government offices,
But then, A cyclone storm with high velocity winds and high tidal waves hit this town on 22nd December 1964 causing heavy damages
all dwelling houses were blown to pieces in the storm and marooned. In addition hundreds people died in this cyclonic storm.

I have recently visited this place to see people living in small numbers. they are with out even basic facility of electricity. This is the only place in the worls where I see the earlier generation has got a better life than the current one...its really pathetic !!

you will feel your heart heavy when visiting this place.

We all know Climate change is one of the main reasons for these type of tropical cyclones.

Its more justifiable if we suffer because of our mistakes and faults, but what those innocents have done to experience those disasters !
They even don't know what is climate change and global warming but they have become the victims of that, so pathetic....
Now its our call ! we have to do something about it............
small or big but we should start NOW !!!

Its a WAKE UP CALL Friends !

With love to nature....

The rain.... the freshness....

Yesterday evening,
I was just crossing the road and it was drizzling, thought I can reach my place which is very nearby but, before that rain came and I was completely wet.
I cursed for a moment and ran, reached home and started searching my towel to make myself dry and comfortable, that moment I realized something, I felt fresh both on body & sole !
I wouldn't have been that fresh even if I have taken a full bath with so called nature soaps and shampoos... I am sure many of you would have experienced this by one time or the other !

Here I would like to share some of my shots took just after rain, you can see the freshness and beauty of the nature...... you literally can't get this effect by spraying water on the flower... !
These shots are taken in Kodaikanal, Tamilnadu.
